We like to allow as much room as we can for our continental giants . 5ft wide is the minum size that a hutch should be . Our hutches are 6ft wide giving the rabbits space to run around. We also let them ouside in a large run where they enjoy stretching their legs.
Our large cages!!!
We dont like to change our rabbits diet too much. We feed our rabbits on marriages feed which is high in protein. These rabbits need to be on a high protein diet , due to their size, accompanied by hay to help knaw down their teeth. We give our rabbits one carrot at night or sometimes change their treat so that they have sweede . As a treat they like brown toast. Obviously given to them cold. It helps to keep their teeth in order, especially if you rabbit does not eat enough hay. Our rabbits have also been feed dandylion which is very good for them and also kale which they love! A rabbits digestive system is very complex so we dont like to upset their stomachs too much. If changing their food please do it gradually as they may get diarrhoea.

We recommend that you get both these injections as they can in many cases be fatal. A few things that you need to be aware with in rabbits is bloat and diarrhoea. These can cause death in rabbits if not treated.
Bloat- This is where the rabbit will stop eating. This is why you should always keep an eye on the rabbits food intake. If you see any change in the rabbits diet or they stop eating then please get to a vet the same day. You will often find that you will have to syringe the rabbit with its mushed up pellets. Make sure that you add luke warm water .
If your rabbit has diarrhoea please take away all food and just leave hay until their poos start to re-form.
We reserve the right to not sell our rabbit if we do not feel that it is going to an appropriate home. We are responsible breeders and only breed to produce quality continental giants. They are our pets at the end of the day and dont want to put them through to much stress in their lives. They live a happy fufilled life with us, with the chance to run around outside . They are loved very much.
Our rabbits have freedom to run outside and play !!!!
